APCO Systems – Client Relations Coordinator

APCOPAY is seeking to recruit a Client Relations Coordinator to join the dynamic team. APCOPAY is part of Harvest Technology plc and is a market leader in payment solutions, offering eCommerce processing solutions for debit, credit cards and other payment options. APCOPAY processes 100 currencies across 40 acquiring banks and more than 240 alternative payments to over 1200 merchants in 25 countries. APCOPAY’s clients include airlines, retail, telecoms and has been involved in processing payments for iGaming companies since 2004.

The Role

The Client Relations Officer will primarily be responsible for managing a growing client portfolio. The position is critical in creating and maintaining long-term relationships with local and international eCommerce clients, with the objective to continuously increase engagement and revenue.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the candidate will take an active role in supporting the business development function by being the first point of contact for merchants, ensuring that the merchant’s experience with APCOPAY matches their expectations and that they are satisfied with the service being offered. The Client Relations Officer shall liaise with clients on a regular basis and will be responsible for securing agreements and assisting in deployments in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, the Client Relations Coordinator will need to collaborate with the onboarding team as well as with banks and payment option providers as well as the internal support team as a crucial component of the process.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of other languages is advantageous. Preferred candidates will be highly organised, solutions-driven, and motivated. The chosen applicant will possess a minimum of one years’ experience in a co-ordination role and will be able to multitask effectively under pressure. Knowledge of the online payments industry and client onboarding processes commensurate with previous experience in commercial, sales, account management or similar roles within industries such as financial services, fintech or information technology shall be considered favourable.
